Swasthya Shivir

Sri Ram Gau Seva Parishad (SRGSP) organized a Swasthya Shivir (Free Health Check-up Camp) on 7th February 2025 at Sikrara, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. The objective of this camp was to bring accessible and affordable healthcare to villagers who often face challenges in reaching proper medical facilities.

The camp offered general health check-ups, blood pressure and sugar testing, and medical consultations by qualified doctors. Essential medicines were distributed free of cost, ensuring that no family was burdened financially. A special focus was placed on women and children’s health, with awareness sessions on nutrition, hygiene, and preventive care.

The camp witnessed active participation from villagers who felt empowered to address their health needs. Many cases of undiagnosed health issues were identified early, giving people a chance to seek further treatment. This initiative not only treated illnesses but also promoted the importance of regular check-ups and healthy living.

The success of the camp was made possible by our dedicated SRGSP volunteers, who managed logistics, guided villagers, assisted doctors, and distributed medicines. Their tireless efforts ensured that the event was smooth, impactful, and deeply appreciated by the community.
